'WO' Wireline Overshot

ACT Wireline Overshots are used to engage sub-surface tools in various situations as determined by operator. Overshots consist of hardened steel slips with sharpened upward teeth, engage the fish. The tapered ID of skirt and upward pull / jarring set the slips tighter.

'ROS' Releasable Overshot

ACT Releasable Overshot is used in Wireline Fishing Operation. Bowen and 'O' Banon type Overshot cannot be released once they are latched. However in ACT Releasable Overshots, the slips can be released by downward jarring.
